TICINOPLAST AND TREEBU – A JOINT FOREST

2 October 2023

Ticinoplast adopts a forest of 100 trees for the next 3 years thanks to the collaboration with Treebù, a benefit company and innovative startup founded in Italy by a team of engineers and agronomists. A dedicated dashboard accessible online shows the number of trees planted and the amount of CO₂ absorbed, offering a complete view of the project and its impact on the environment. The forest is composed of Pauwlonia trees, a species characterized by rapid growth, it can in fact reach up to 15 meters in height in a few years, and its ability to absorb up to 10 times more CO₂ than other tree species. Ticinoplast thus continues its commitment after the activity carried out last year in Piazza Duca D’Aosta in Milan, investing again in tangible activities in support of the environment contributing to the management of this forest that will help mitigate the CO2 emissions produced.
