I visited a private breeder of Lusitano horse (originating in Portugal). The owner loves the Lusitano breed, and he decided to turn out all of his mares into a big open area to let them run around and kick up dust. All mares, not one single male horse. They loved being able to be out in the open, and they ran and ran and ran
