Victorian Pierrot Enamel Love Token Pendant half hoop Chester 1884DATE: Late Victorian, c. 1900 An ace antique Pierrot love token pendant dating from the early 20th Century, circa 1910. It's French made, crafted in 18 karat gold and finished in vitreous green enamel. The words translate as "When this Pierrot will sing, my love will end" which is a sweet and playful romantic sentiment. Pierrot, if you're not familiar, is a stock character of pantomime and commedia dell'arte whose origins are in the late seventeenth
