18th Century SOUVENIR Navette Memorial Pendant horseshoe and is set with stonesDATE: Georgian, c. 1780 An incredible Georgian memorial pendant dating from the late 18th Century. The navette shaped design features intricately set seed pearls mounted on a royal blue guillich enamel backdrop and arranged around the word SOUVENIR which translates from French as memory, or remember all within an enamelled border. The seed pearls in the upper half are arranged in the form of ribbons, artfully draped over the word, and in the lower
