The aluminum base features a 1 4" 20 threaded hole for mounting on a tripod or other support using a standard 1 4" 20 screw. Made from aviation grade aluminum, the plate and QR mechanism will support up to 220 lb when oriented vertically. Measuring less than 2" on a side and about 3 4" tall,
