Late Victorian OMC Scalloped Solitaire Ring Size:4.25 she turned Medusa's hair intoDATE: Victorian, c. 1890 A particularly attractive antique diamond solitaire ring featuring scalloped claw settings. It's set with a chunky half carat old mine cut diamond, and the scalloping east west of the stone is exaggerated, giving the impression of split shoulders. Crafted in 18 karat gold, it date from the late Victorian period, circa 1890 these rings are, in form, a sort of hybrid between the solitaire gypsy ring and the stirrup ring, albeit
