This is an early plate by Spode in the difficult to find pattern entitled Byron. It depicts two young girls and their Mother gathering wheat. One of the girls sits atop a fence as her dog looks on curiously. There are many difference scenes in this series, each depicting rural English life. The detail in the transfer is
